Pommels but I finished the meet strong. State was another tough

regionals. At regional’s I finished off the year with a good meet I
hit all six events and scored a 70.1. Unfortunately I didn’t qualify

My Gymnastics Dreams

"If I were not a gymnast, my life would be completely different. I
wouldn’t be as mentally or physically strong as I am now. I would be
missing out on awesome friendships, traveling to new places, and
experiencing the best sport in the world!
Gymnastics has taught me more than just how to do a handstand or a
back flip. It has taught me to show great sportsmanship, meet new
friends, and stay healthy.
I have been doing gymnastics for 6 years. The first day I walked into my first gymnastics class was a nervous and exciting day for me. That day I got to discover my true talent and I wanted to continue. Now six years later, I’m the 2008, level 7 Regional Vault Champion. I’ve come too far to quit now. My dream is to compete in college and become an Olympic Gymnast one day! I would love to represent my Country in that way.
This year, my coach will be moving to Cascade Elite Gymnastics to learn how to coach beyond level 7. I am moving to CEG as well to continue training with him. My goals for the 2008-2009 season are to become a level 9 and train for level 10. A scholarship would help me achieve my goals by being able to continue my gymnastics training at CEG and travel with the team. As I learn new skills, I would be able to learn more about the sport of gymnastics, and meet new coaches and friends in the gymnastics community.
Continuing my gymnastics training will help me achieve my goal to compete as a level 9 and train as a level 10. It will also help me achieve my goal to compete at the college level as well as continue on towards the Olympics. Learning more about Gymnastics will help me to become a coach or a judge. Staying connected and cheering on other coaches, teams and teammates, is fun and great social support. I would really appreciate this scholarship to achieve my full potential as a gymnast/coach.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to represent the Iron Cross Foundation."
